Raymond Guimond

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Raymond Guimond, 87, of Saint Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in Saint-Louis on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late John and late Lucie (Légère) Guimond. Before retiring, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator and also worked as a lumberjack.

Raymond will be sadly missed by, Alice (Goguen) Guimond, his five children, David Guimond (Jirène) of Kouchibouguac, Charlene Guimond (Daniel) of Moncton, Joanne Martin (Joseph), Marc Guimond (Caroline) both of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Jean-Paul "Ti-Jean" Guimond of Moncton; five grandchildren, Joël, Véronique, Ghislain, Chloe, Josée; one sister, Florence Guimond and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers, Leo-Paul "Polo", Edouard, Alexandre "Alec", infant brother, Rhéal; sisters, Rita Blais, Alfreda "Freda" Jones, Jeannette Arsenault and one special nephew, Wayne Jones.

Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Sunday from 7-9 pm, Monday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 31st, 2015 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
