Regina Comeau

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB- Régina Comeau, 84, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Born in Cap Saint-Louis, she was the daughter of the late Gaspard Guimond and late Elise (Doucet) Guimond.  She volunteered much of her time within her church parish and her community of Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  She loved to cook, go dancing and take dance lessons.  She was a member of the Acadian Club. 

Régina will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Raymonde (Réginald) Boudreau of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Rose-Marie (Jacques) Bourgeois of Moncton, Mélanise Comeau (Claude) of Ottawa, ON, Jocelyne (Donald) Marcoux of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; four sons, Gérard (Joanne) Comeau of Irishtown, Valery (Betty) Comeau of Richibucto, Emery (Délisca) Comeau of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Renald (Rita) Comeau of Sainte-Anne; eighteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. 

Regina is also survived by one sister, Mélanise Lavoie (late Emile) of Sudbury, ON. 

She was predeceased by her husband, John L. Comeau; one son, Leopold; one daughter, Rosella and brothers, Albénie, Edgar, Eloi, Alonzo, Nazaire and Jimmy. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Monday at 2:00 until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
