Glenn  Stewart

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Glenn Stewart, 75, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, November 8, 2015.  Born in Claire-Fontaine, he was the son of the late Herb Stewart and late Teresa (Kelly) Stewart.  Before retiring, Glenn was employed as a fisherman and woodsman.  Glenn was a very well known and generous man that would not hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.  

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Delphine (Robichaud) Stewart of St. Louis; two daughters, Simone Stewart of Aldouane, Pierrette Stewart (Allain) of Pointe-Sapin; four sons, Nazaire (Christine) of Baie-Ste-Anne, Douglas (Maya) of Moncton, Pierre & John both of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, Samantha, Allain, Jacques, Justin, Micha, Elija, Isaiah, Hunter, Tanner, Aesha; four great grandchildren, Miguel, Zackarie, Jacob and Yannick. 

He is also survived by four sisters, Elizabeth (late Melvin), Joan (Emilien), Theresa (Jean-Noel), Bernice (Elezar); one brother, Graham (Cecile) and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four infant siblings. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9, Thursday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Fran­çais Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Interment will be in the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery in Claire-Fontaine.  Donations in Glenn’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice and would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
