Réal Daigle
1933-2016
ALDOUANE, NB – Réal Daigle 82, of Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, January 11, 2016. Born in Petit Large (Guimond Village), he was the son of the late Laurent and late Alice (Daigle) Daigle. Before retiring, he was employed as a mechanic and service station owner.
Réal will be sadly missed by his daughter, Edith Daigle (René Grieder) of Aldouane, by his many nephews that he loved as though they were his sons, as well as by his many beloved nieces.
He is also survived by one sister, Yolande Simberski (William); three brothers, Nectaire Daigle (Patricia), Laurent Daigle (Diane) and Réginald Daigle.
He was predeceased by his wife, Germaine (Babin) Daigle; five sisters, Mina, Laurette, Aggué, Bernadette, Marie-Anne and five brothers, Alderic, Gérard, Napoléon "Paulo", Tilmon and Nectaire.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9, Friday at noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Donations in Réal’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
