Mae Edith Haywood

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mae Edith Haywood at the Moncton City Hospital on February 5, 2016.  Born in Charlo on July 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Hazel (Haywood) Walsh and late Raymond MacDonald, and special granddaugher of the late Alfred and Mary Haywood, Harcourt, NB.

Mae will be greatly missed by her half-sisters, Ann Langis and Marion Walsh, Riverview; two nieces and two nephews; sister-in-law, Linda Walsh, Nanaimo, BC; several cousins who were very special to her, staff and residents at Brae Manor.

Besides her parents and grandparents, she was predeceased by half-brother, Robert Walsh, Nanaimo, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Mae was a loving and caring person and enjoyed her friends at the YMCA Seniors Group, MCRI Shades Club and was an avid TV hockey fan, enjoyed puzzles and crocheting.

A celebrations of Mae's life will be held at a later date in Harcourt at time of interment.  Arrangements entrusted to Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (506-523-4252).

If so desired, donations in Mae's memory may be made to the Harcourt Joint Cemetery, Harcourt, NB or to a memorial of your choice.
