Onil Richard

ST-IGNACE, NB – It is with great sadness the family of Onil Richard 66, of St-Ignace announce his passing.  Born in St-Ignace, he was the son of the late Ulysee Richard and late Dorina (Robichaud) Richard.  Onil was employed at St-Ignace Wood Truss as a truss assembler.  He attended St-Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church. 

Onil will be sadly missed by his common law spouse, Anne-Marie Goguen of St-Ignace; one son, Alfred Chevarie of St-Paul; three grandchildren; four sisters, Maria Thebeau (Adélard) of St. Ignace, Ida Guimond (late Henrie) of Richibucto, Ginette Richard of Richibucto, Anna Comeau (Noël); four brothers, Paul-Emile (Gisèle), Antoine (Pat), Alexis (Eileen), Adelard (Anne-Marie) all of St-Ignace; sister-in-law, Germaine and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Gérard. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Sunday from 7-9 pm, Monday from 9:00 am until departure for the celebration of Onil’s life which will be held at the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace at 11:00 am.  The family would like to express a very special thank you to everyone that helped in the search efforts for Onil.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
