Normand Robichaud

POINTE-SAPIN, NB – Normand Robichaud 63, of Pointe-Sapin passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Delphis Robichaud and late Adella (Lebouthilier) Robichaud.  Normand was employed as a lobster purchaser for the Coop in Pointe-Sapin, previously he served with the Royal Canadian Army.

Normand will be sadly missed by his wife, Véronique (Martell) Robichaud; four daughters, Chantal Robichaud (Brian Martin), Vicky Martin (Jean Denis Gaudet), Paulette Daigle (Regis Daigle), Maya Robichaud (Jason Manuel) all of Pointe-Sapin and nine grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters, Simonne Mazerolle (Antoine) of Pointe-Sapin, Zella Layden (John) of Acadieville; three brothers, Prudent Robichaud, Roger Robichaud (Unice McIntyre), Arcade Robichaud (Marie-Louise) all of Pointe-Sapin and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four sisters, Sr. Valma, Delphine, Céline, Marguerite and one brother, Valmond.

Visitation will be held at the Pointe-Sapin Community Centre in Pointe-Sapin on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Wednesday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 am, St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
