Rosanna Mazerolle

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB -  Rosanna Mazerolle 82, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday, May 12, 2016.  Born in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Dominique and late Leocadie (Gray) Martin.  Before retiring, Rosanna was employed at the Villa Maria.  

Rosanna will be sadly missed by her partner of many years, Alonzo Mazerolle; four sons, Roy (Anne) of Moncton, Normand of St. Louis, Robert (Rhéa) of St. Charles, Raymond (Lynne) of St. Louis; four grandchildren, Rachel, Aurèle, Gaston, Regis; one great granddaughter, Zoey and another great granddaughter on the way, as well as three step-children, Sharon (Gary), Denise (Paula), Bobby (Suzanne), three step-grandchildren, Cody, Corinne, Alex and many nieces and nephews.

Rosanna is also survived by one brother, Calixte Martin (Bernadette) of Richibucto, and was predeceased by her husband, Aurèle; four sisters, Imelda, Bernadette, Irène, Mabel and five brothers, Tilmon, Henri, Aurèle, Elide and Fred. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Saturday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Donations in Rosanna’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice.  The family wish to express a special thank you to the George Dumont’s Oncology, Palliative Care Clinic, and the chemo treatment centre, as well as the staff at the Stella Maris Hospital, and all the Extra Murale staff for their kind and compassionate care of Rosanna.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
