Luc Daigle
1918-2016
POINTE-SAPIN, NB – Luc Daigle 98, of Pointe-Sapin passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, May 16, 2016. Born in Pointe-Sapin, he was the son of the late Joseph and late Marie (Daigle) Daigle.
Luc will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 73 years, Lucie (Mazerolle) Daigle and many nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, Luc was predeceased by two sisters, Eveline, Mélina and three brothers, Fabien, Nazaire and Arthur.
Visitation will be held at the Pointe-Sapin Community Center in Pointe-Sapin on Thursday from 7-9 pm, Friday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 am, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Pointe-Sapin. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations in Luc’s memory may be made to the Activity Fund at the Villa Maria or to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
