Nazaire Robichaud
1937-2016
DIEPPE, NB – Nazaire Robichaud 79, of Dieppe (formerly of Saint-Louis-de-Kent) passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Born in Pointe-Sapin, he was the son of the late Olivier Robichaud and late Barbara Jane (Daigle) Robichaud. Before retiring, Nazaire was employed as a bricklayer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Nazaire will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Anna (Daigle) Robichaud of Dieppe; one daughter, Jacqueline Malenfant (Raymond) of Notre Dame; two sons, Gerald Robichaud of Moncton, Rosimond Mazerolle of Notre Dame; four grandchildren Lyne, Mario, Jeremie, Tanya and one great granddaughter, Rayna.
He is also survived by two sisters, Lauzia O’Brian (Peter) of Rexton, Exina Robichaud (late Arthur) of St. Louis and three brothers, Delphis Robichaud (Yvonne) of Dieppe, Raymond Robichaud (Imelda) of Moncton, Albert Robichaud of Rexton and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Georges, Normand and four sisters, Victorine, Amanda, Cecile and Leona.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de Français Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Donations in Nazaire’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
