Alfreda Hebert

KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB – Alfreda Hebert 68, of Kouchibouguac passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.  Born in Fontaine, she was the daughter of the late George Hebert and late Marie-Louise (Daigle) Hebert.  Alfreda was employed as a fisherman helper.  She attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Alfreda loved to play bingo and cards.  She was a people person and the rock of the Hebert Family.  She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for and she will be greatly missed. 

Alfreda will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Emile Hebert; five daughters, Claudette Hebert (Vincent Doucet) of St. Charles, Anne Daigle (Eugene), Nicolle Hebert (Denis Cormier) both of Kouchibouguac, Simonne Hebert (Serge Daigle) of Pointe-Sapin, Monica Hebert (Roy Daigle) of Moncton; one son, Claude Hebert (Stéphanie) of St. Louis; five grandchildren, Melanie, Nathalie, Alain, Alex and Claire. 

She is also survived by three sisters, Meldred Robichaud (Francis) of Pointe-Sapin, Gisèle Doucette (Bernard), Jeannine Vautour (Adrien) of St. Louis; ten brothers, Léonard (Laurraine), Clément (Louise), Arcade, Omer, Laurie, Edgar (Bernadette) all of Kouchibouguac, Sylvio (Linda) of Canisto, Elzeard (Ida), Adelin both of St. Louis, Denis (Jenny) of Miramichi and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one infant son, Simon and one brother, Aurele.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Saturday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Donations in Alfreda`s memory may be made to the charity of the donor`s choice.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson`s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
