Everett James Beck

MONCTON, NB – Everett Beck, age 92, of Moncton (formerly of Harcourt) passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, August 14, 2016.  Born in Harcourt, NB he was the son of the late Robert Wesley Beck and late Blanche (Spencer) Beck.  Before retiring, Everett was a poultry farmer.

Everett will be sadly missed by his four daughters, Shelley Lee Petley (Bill) of Hanwell, Pamela Jean Graham (Rodney) of Kelowna, BC, Cindy Marion Verrill (Peter) of Clifton Royal, Virginia Marie Hazeldine (Arnie Veinotte) of Halifax; two sons, Leonard Everett Beck (Paula) of Harcourt, Brian James Beck (Marjorie) of Harcourt; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is also survived by two sisters, Evangeline Perrin (late Walter) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Margaret Lucas (late Abraham) of Hamilton and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Olive Marie (Lyman) Beck; one sister, Marjorie Godfrey; two brothers, Alvin, Raymond; five half-brothers, Pearl, Tom, Bob, George, Lockhart and one half-sister, Ida.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-9 pm at the Pond Memorial Chapel in Harcourt.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm, Pond Memorial Chapel, Harcourt.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harcourt Joint Cemetery Fund, Legion Branch #75 or the Harcourt School Hot Lunch Program.
