Charlotte Doucet
1924-2016
BEDEC/RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Charlotte Doucet, age 92, passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Born in Brentville, NB she was the daughter of the late Félicien McLaughlin and late Marie (Vienneau) McLaughlin.
Charlotte will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Irène (David Plourde) of Moncton, Yolande (Bruce Marsh) of Saint John, Jocelyn (Murray Jarvis) of Saint John, Charline (Danny Breau) of California; two sons, Léo-Paul (Rose-Marie Nowlan) of Richibucto, Jean-Pierre (Rachelle Robichaud) of Richibouctou-Village; thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her parents; husband, Amédée (Médée) Doucet; four sons, Gérald, Léonce, Gerard, Aquilla; six sisters, Basilice, Elizabeth, Hélène, Mathilde, Marguerite, Rosanna and two brothers, Pierre and Vincent.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be held in the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Claire-Fontaine. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto.
