Alice Carter

RICHIBUCTO, NB – Alice Carter, age 93, wife of the late Allan Carter, of Richibucto passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home, Rexton on Friday, August 26, 2016.  Born in Richibucto, she was the daughter of the late Lee Haines and late Dorothy (Michaud) Haines.  Alice was employed as a clerk at the O’Leary General Store and retired from Seagrams.  She was a member of the Anglican Guild of Richibucto/Rexton. 

Alice will be sadly missed by several cousins, especially Brian, Tish & Jeff. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 4:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto officiated by the Reverend Christopher Ketch.  Interment will be in the Richibucto/United Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
