Raymond Murphy

ST. NORBERT, NB – Raymond Murphy, 63, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 3^rd, 2016. Born in South Branch, he was the son of the late Patrick and Mary (Hudson) Murphy.  Raymond was a heavy equipment operator for Industrial Cold Milling. 

Raymond will be sadly missed by his special friend, Kris Fletcher of Emmerson; daughter, Jody Murphy (Ryan Beers) of Mundleville; son, Brent Bona (Rachel) of Targettville; stepdaughter, Margaret Perry (Mark) of Bass River Point; seven grandchildren, Waylon Beers, Scott and Patrick Bona, Matthew, Shawn, Brad and Laura Perry; three sisters, Lorraine Carruthers (Mark) of Rexton, Adele Maillet (Alvin) of Moncton and Marlene Thomson (Michael) of Moncton; as well as by several nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, Raymond is predeceased by one step-son, Christian Bona; two sisters, Yvonne Hudson and Audrey Cail. 

Following the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home or funeral service. A private family service will be held at a later date.  Donations in Raymond’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
