Merisa Rae Simon

ST. CHARLES – Merisa Simon, 39, passed away peacefully at the Dr.-George-L.-Dumont University Hospital on Thursday, October 6^th, 2016. Born in Elsipogtog, she was the daughter of Carl Carter of Maine and Vivian Augustine of Elsipogtog and her grandmother, Regina Simon of Rexton who raised her. Merisa worked for The Elsipogtog Fisheries Department.

Merisa will be sadly missed by her parents and grandmother, as well as by her spouse Paul Comeau of St. Charles; two daughters, Maddison and Reanna; her son, Eric; her special niece that lived with them, Hayley; four sisters Candace Sock, Jolene Sock (Mike), Grace Augustine and Maureen Simon; four brothers, Manuel Simon, Marty Simon (Theresa Mae), Maynard Simon (Gisele) and Emerson Sock; her mother and father in law, Nancy and Valmond Comeau; her sister-in-law, Amanda Johnson; as well as all the members of her extended family and friends.

Resting at her home (735 chemin St. Charles Sud, St. Charles), visitation will begin Sunday, October 9^th, 2016 at 11:00 am until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October, 11^th, 2016 at 11:00am, Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog.
