Theodule Gallant

ST-LOUIS-DE-KENT – Theodule Gallant, 88, of St-Louis-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent hospital, Ste.-Anne. Born in St-Louis, he was the son of the late Crispin and Delima (Maillet) Gallant. Theodule worked as a woodsman before retiring.

Theodule will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannette; two daughters, Claudine Disimone (Ettore) of Moncton and Nola Ouellette (Normand) of St-Ignace; two sons, Jean-Guy (Majella) and Claude (Anne), both of Moncton; seven grandchildren, Janie, Paula, Marco, Samantha, Marie-Josée, Jeremie and Monica; two sisters, Jeannette Poirier (late Yvon) of Rexton and Alfreda Gallant of Montreal, QC; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Theodule is predeceased by his four sisters, Lucienne, Ernestine, Alma and Florence; seven brothers, Joseph, Albert, Saturnin, Rene, Edgar, Cyprien and Louis-Emile; as well as to brothers in infancy, Edgar and Joseph.

 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff at the Stella Maris de Kent hospital, as well as a very special thank you to Dr. Martin for the special care that was given to Theodule.

 

Visitation will take place at Thompson’s Memorial Home, St-Louis, Sunday, October 9^th, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm and Monday, from 9:00am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 10^th, 2016 at 11:00am, St-Louis-des-Francais Roman Catholic Church, St-Louis. Donations in memory of Theodule may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, if so desired.
