Rodney Simon

ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Rodney Simon 51, of Elsipogtog passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 12, 2016.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Wilfred Simon and late Mona (Joseph) Simon.  He was a carpenter and in his spare time Rodney loved playing pool.  

He will be sadly missed by his loving girlfriend of many years, Lorenda Sock; three sons, Robert Lyle Francis of Elsipogtog, Robbie Christopher Tomah of St. Mary’s, Wilfred Jessie Lee Simon of Elsipogtog; four grandchildren; seven sisters, Margaret Ann Milliea (Eric), Theresa May Simon (Marty), Irma Simon (Greg), Sheila Augustine (Kevin), Marina Milliea (Dwayne), Vera Augustine (Ross), Noella Peter Paul all of Elsipogtog; one brother, Vincent Simon (Sarah) of Thunder Bay and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister; Frances Simon and one brother, Robert Simon. 

Resting at the home of his sister, Margaret Ann’s at 18 Hill Street, Elsipogtog beginning on Saturday at 7:00 pm until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 10:00 am, St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Elsipogtog.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
