Dorrance Vincent Sock

ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Dorrance Vincent Sock 66, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Friday, November 4, 2016.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Peter P. Sock and late Charlotte (Peter Paul) Sock.  He loved the sea and his job as a fisherman. 

Dorrance will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Angie Pitre (Paul Hachey) of Amherst, Hayley Simon of Elsipogtog; four sons, Peter George Sock (Patricia), Dorrance Sock Jr. (Melinda), Noel John D. Sock (Shelna) all of Elsipogtog, Austin Bonspille of Oka, Quebec; ten grandchildren, Samantha, Shawn, Keri, Hailie, Jenna, Hilary, Alley, Tyler, Turner, Nyla and many nieces and nephews. 

The last surviving member of his immediate family, Dorrance was predeceased by one daughter, Mona Charlotte; two sisters, Annie May, Dorothy and two brothers, Emerson and Noel. 

In keeping with Dorrance’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
