Blaine Collette

RICHIBUCTO, NB – Blaine Collette 71, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, January 15, 2017.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Meddie Collette and late Lillian (Gamble) Collette.  Before retiring, Blaine was employed for the Town of Richibucto for 31 years.  He devoted his time to coaching baseball and hockey and spent countless hours volunteering at the arena. 

Blaine will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Imelda (Guimond) Collette of Richibucto; his uncle Irving Daigle; his aunt, Theresa Robichaud, cousins, Tommy Gamble, Junior Gamble; very special hunting buddy, Trevor Barns and his little dog, Tara. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9, Friday at 9:00 –11:00 am.  As per Blaine’s wishes there will be no funeral service.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
