Elide Savoie

SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Elide Savoie, 88, of Saint-Charles passed away at La Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent, on Wednesday, January 26^th, 2017. Born in Aldouane, he was the son of the late Adolphe and Beatrice (Comeau) Savoie. 

Elide will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Yvonne (Richard) Savoie; his children, Elide Jr. (Pauline) of Saint-John, Yvon of St-Charles, Janice (Gerard) of Bouctouche, Lisa (Roger) of St-Charles, Francine (Armand) of St-Norbert, Anne-Marie (Gerry) of Bouctouche and Rhea (Arthur) of St-Louis; seven grand-children, Jessie, Natalie, Stephanie, Jessica, Andrew, Shawna and Marie-Josee; as well as by his sister, Laura from Perth-Andover. 

Besides his parents, Elide is also predeceased by his sisters, Lorestine Comeau and Elise Robichaud. 

The family would like to extend their gratitude towards the staff at La Villa Maria, as well as Dr. André Boucher, for the excellent care given to Elide. 

As per Elide’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home and no funeral service.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
