Irene Cormier

JARDINEVILLE, NB – Irene Cormier 73, of Jardineville, NB passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Ste-Anne, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Henri Boucher and late Elise (King) Boucher.  She attended St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church in Richibouctou-Village.  Before retiring, Irene was a tour director for a motor coach store in Harvard, MASS. 

Irene will be sadly missed by her husband, Paul Cormier of Jardineville; one son, Ronnie Robichaud (Sandy) of Ashburnham, MASS; step-daughter, Sheila Sundstrom (Steve) of West Townsend, MASS; step-sons, Norman Cormier (Betty) of Ashburnham, MASS, Michael Cormier (Valeria) of Fitchburg, MASS; two grandchildren, Michelle, Russell, two great grandchildren, Tucker, Avery and four step-grandchildren, Sam, Jessica, Jason, and Caua. 

She is also survived by three sisters, Joanne Babineau (late Jack) of Richibouctou-Village, Annette Boucher (Leo) of Leominster, MASS, Denise Bernard (Irois) McKees Mills; one brother, Omer Boucher (Violet) of Richibouctou-Village and many nieces and nephews.  

Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by two infant brothers, Emery and Armand. 

Visitation will be held at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Richibouctou-Village on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 beginning at 10:00 am until time of the service which will begin at 11:00 am.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital for the excellent care provided to Irene.
