Dorina Savoie

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Dorina Savoie 91, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Saturday, March 11, 2017.  Born in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late August Richard and late Catherine (Daigle) Richard.  Dorina attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Louis Golden Age Club. 

Dorina will be sadly missed by her six daughters, Augusta Vautour (Roger) of St. Louis, Emerise Daigle (Ovila) of St. Louis, Cecile Johnson (Ron) of Moncton, Geralda Kelly (David) of St. Charles, Denise Richard (Robert) of St. Louis, Yvette Savoie (Serge) of Fredericton; three sons, Gilles Savoie of St. Louis, Vincent Savoie of St. Louis, Leo-Paul Savoie (Roberta) of Moncton; thirteen grandchildren, Daniel, Cathy, Michelle, Richard, Michael, Brian, Darren, Kevin, Chantal, Venessa, Renelle, Erika, Katia; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. 

The last surviving member of her immediate family, Dorina was predeceased by her husband, Alyre; two sisters, Eva, Elvina and three brothers, François, Gerald and infant Lionel. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9, Tuesday at noon until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
