Alice Cormier

REXTON, NB – Alice Cormier, 90, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Sunday, March 12^th, 2017. Born in Edmunston, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Melina (Desroches) Daigle.

Alice will be sadly missed by her daughter, Geraldine Cormier-Caux (late Gilbert) of Bathurst; her son Harry Cormier (Louise Daigle) of Richibouctou-Village; her six grandchildren, Melanie Powell (Adam) of Ontario, Daniel Caux (Andrea) of Alberta, Christine Caux of British Columbia, Michel Caux (Nicole) of Nova Scotia, Jesse and Emily Uhrich of Saskatchewan; and her seven great grandchildren.

She also leaves to mourn her sister Claudia Doucet (late Georges) of Halifax, NS and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Alice is predeceased by her husband, Alcide Cormier; four sisters, Dorice, Flavie, Cecile and Dorilla; and two brothers, Antoine and Aurele.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society in Alice’s memory would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto on Friday from noon until the funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 17^th, 2017 at 2:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
