Catherine Poirier

1953-2017

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Catherine Poirier, 63, of Saint-Louis passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Monday, March 13^th, 2017. Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Yvonne (Durelle) Martin.

Catherine will be sadly missed by her husband, Majorique Poirier; daughter, Lynn Ann Poirier-Pitre (Danny) of Acadieville; two sons, Jason of Saint-Louis and Steven (Renée Richard) of Aldouane; four grandchildren, Darnel, Brady, Kaira and Lucas; two brothers, Fernand Martin (Dora Durelle) of Baie-Ste-Anne and Benoit Martin of Rexton; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Besides her parents, Catherine is predeceased by her brother, Edmond.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Thursday from 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 16^th, 2017 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
