Jimmy Clare

ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Jimmy Clare, 72 of Elsipogtog, passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday, June 16, 2017.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Michael Francis and late Ester Clare.  Jimmy was a Shubenacadie Residential School Survivor. 

Jimmy will be sadly missed by his brother Dave Clare;  step-siblings, Gary, Anthony, Wayne, Calvin, Ronnie, Jacqueline, Irene, Sue Anne, Sue Ellen, Gertie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his adoptive parents, Louis and Mary Ellen Clare; sisters, Joanne, Agnes; step-brother, Hubert and step-sister Diane. 

Visitation will be held at Lorraine Clair’s residence, 325 Big Cove Road, Elsipogtog beginning on Monday at 2:00 pm until Wednesday at 2:00 pm.  In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services.  After final goodbyes, family and friends may gather at Lorraine's residence for a feast and auction in Jimmy's honor.    Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
