Elzear Joseph L. Martin

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Elzear Martin, 64, of St-Louis passed away peacefully, at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 28^th, 2017. Born in Baie-Ste-Anne, he was the son of the late Lionel and Albertine (Daigle) Martin. Before retiring, he worked as a fisherman and also worked in fish plants.

Elzear will be sadly missed by his wife, Bernice (née Stewart) Martin; his three sons, Steven Martin-Schedler (Dexter) of Saint-John, Wesley Martin and Jimmy Lee Martin, both of St-Louis; extended sister, Antoinette McIntyre of Miramichi; step brother, Antoine Martin (Noella) of St-Louis; great aunts, Rosalie Martin of Montreal, QC, Victorine Johnson and Amelia Nash, both of Baie-Ste-Anne; several nieces and nephews; as well as his dogs, Mia and Chevy.

Besides his parents, Elzear is predeceased by his extended brother, Jean Martin.

Visitation will take place at Thompson’s Funeral Home, 33 Acadie St., Richibucto, on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until time of the funeral. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 2^nd, 2017 at 7:30pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto.
