Jeannita Vautour

BOWMANVILLE, ON – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jeannita Vautour. Jeannita passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday August 11th, 2017 at St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto at the age of 74.  She was the daughter of the late Obéline (nee Richard) Daigle-Vautour (Eddie) and late Fred S. Daigle of St Charles, New Brunswick.

Beloved wife of the late Ernest Vautour.  Loving mother of Maureen (Robert Symons) of Ajax, Gisele Whalley of Bowmanville and the late Charlene Vautour.

Proud Mémère to Justin Symons (Montreal), Stephanie Symons (Fredericton, NB), Skylar and Devin Whalley (Bowmanville).  She is survived by her sisters Maria Chevarie (late Eddie), Rose-Mai Doiron (Gilles), Micheline Daigle and her brothers Gérald Daigle (Huberte), André Daigle (Maria), and Régilles Daigle (Pauline).  She will be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.

Jeannita enjoyed her summers in N.B. spent with her family and friends clam digging, playing cards, sharing family meals and chatting on the deck.  She could often be found supporting her local bingo hall and casino.
