Leona Edna MacWilliam

CLAIRVILLE, NB – Leona MacWilliam 86, of Clairville passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, September 25, 2017.  Born in Emmerson, NB she was the daughter of the late Harry Lynds and late Vera (Beers) Lynds. 

Leona will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jean MacWilliam (Mike); one son, Travis MacWilliam and three grandchildren, Crystal  (Devin LaPointe), Angela and Kurt. 

She is also survived by two sisters, Mona Berry (late Herman), Karen Miscampbell; five brothers, Harry (late Dorothy), Miles, Randy (Dorothy), Ronald (Jeanette), Charles (Vera); son-in-law, George Archibald; sister-in-law, Gail and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George MacWilliam; one daughter, Wanda Archibald; one sister, Eleanor and three brothers, Boyd, Robert and Roger. 

In keeping with Leona’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home.  A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Matthew’s United Cemetery in Clairville, NB.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
