Edna Marie Cail

FORDS MILLS, NB – It is with sadness and heavy hearts we announce Mom’s passing at Monarch Hall, Riverview on Sunday, December 10, 2017.  "Her spirit has gone on to Heaven" where she walks among the gardens and rests beside the still waters.  

Born in Fords Mills, she was the daughter of the late Robert Borden Laird Symes and late Nellie Florence (Thompson) Symes.  Edna attended St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Browns Yard and was a member of the A.C.W. 

Edna will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Treva Kelly (Brian) of Salisbury, Darla Graham (Grant) of Moncton; two sons, Willard Cail (Anne) of Moncton, John Cail of Fords Mills; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Kelsey, Morgan, Brandon and one great grandson, Kyan. 

She is also survived by four sisters, Jeanice Betts (late Myles) of Moncton, Pearl Hewit (Don) of Maine, Jean Manship (David) of Riverview, Ruby Ranson of Saint John; six brothers, Albert Symes (Gloria) of Fords Mills, Sammy Symes (Elsie) of Moncton, Lennie Symes (Hilda) of South Branch, Vance Symes (Linda) of Fords Mills, Steven Symes (Martha) of Moncton, Jeffrey Symes (Liz) of Fords Mills and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Robert Cail. 

Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Browns Yard beginning on Wednesday at 1:00 pm until time of the service.  A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:30 pm, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Browns Yard.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
