Laurette Eagle

CAP-LUMIÈRE, NB – Laurette Eagle, 81, formerly of Cap-Lumière passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at La Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Thursday, February 15th, 2018. Born in Cap-Lumière, she was the daughter of the late Isaïe and Marie (Léger) Richard. Before her retirement, Laurette worked in the fish plants. She was a parishioner at St-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Club d’Âge d’Or, Richibouctou-Village.

Laurette will be sadly missed by her husband, Bertin of La Villa Maria, Saint-Louis; her daughter, Martha Allain (Henry) of Richibouctou-Village; her son, Alvin Eagle (Lise) of Acadieville; three grandchildren, Charline, Lynn and Danika; two great-grandchildren, Scott and Hayley; her sister, Yvette Leblanc (late Paul) of Rexton; as well as by her many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Laurette is predeceased by her three sisters, Rita Hebert, Claudia Richard and Jeannette Landry; and two brothers, Néri and Oscar.

Visitation will be held at the St-Antoine-de-Padoue Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and Saturday from 9:00am until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at 11:00am, St-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Donations in Laurette’s memory made to Parkinson Canada or to the Villa Maria Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
