Claude Leblanc
1959-2018
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Claude Leblanc, 58, of Saint-Louis passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, February 20th, 2018. Born in Bouctouche Bay, he was the son of the late Gerard and Lucina (Breau) Leblanc. Before his retirement, Claude worked as a fisherman.
Claude will be sadly missed by his common-law spouse, France Plante; his daughter Mellissa Leblanc (Steve) of Saint-Louis; two sons, Mathieu Leblanc of Moncton and Martin Leblanc (Melanie) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent; his grandson Miguel; his three sisters, Anne Leblanc, Diane Leblanc, both of Bouctouche and Nora Babin (Lionel) of Saint-Paul; five brothers, Joe Leblanc, Donald Leblanc, both of Bouctouche, André Leblanc of Richibucto, Alonzo Leblanc (Joanne) of Bouctouche and Gilles Leblanc of Saint-Antoine; as well as by his several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Claude is predeceased by his sister, Bertha Richard and an infant sister, Jeanne.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm and Monday from 9:00am until time of funeral. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at 11:00am, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. Donations in memory of Claude may be made to the family.
The family would like to thank the Extra Mural nurses and to Dr. Salem for the excellent care that they provided for Claude through his sickness.
