Jacqueline Thebeau

ST. IGNACE, NB – Jacqueline Thebeau 72, of St. Ignace passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Monday, February 26, 2018.  Born in St. Ignace, she was the daughter of the late Narcisse Johnson and Yvonice (Allain) Johnson.  Before retiring, Jacqueline was employed at the St. Ignace Golf Course for over 25 years. 

Jacqueline will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Alphée Thebeau of St. Ignace; one daughter, Susie Thebeau (Jeff Asselstine) of Saint John; one son, Wayne Thebeau (Janice Devarennes) of Moncton and two special grandchildren, Riley Hebert and Danika Thebeau. 

She is also survived by five sisters, Sr. Yvette Johnson CND of Montreal, Jeannette Johnson of St. Ignace, Yvonne Pellerin (Tony) of Bowmanville, ON, Roberte Guimond (Paul) of St. Louis, Jacinthe Johnson of St. Ignace; five brothers, Laurie Johnson, Donald Johnson (Camilla), Leo-Paul Johnson, Camille Johnson (Marielle), Yvon Johnson all of St. Ignace and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Marie and three brothers, Claude, Edgar and Bernard. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Thursday from 7-9 pm, Friday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 am, St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace.  Donations in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.  The family wish to express a special thank you to the 4D staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital for all their kind and compassionate care of Jacqueline.  Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
