Irene B. Wilson

REXTON, NB – Irene Bertilda Wilson, in her 95^th year, of Rexton, NB, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, March 20^th, 2018. She was born in Mundleville, just outside of Rexton, daughter of the late Percy and Marjorie (MacEachern) Wilson. She was a born-again Christian and loved to serve and give of herself wherever she could.

Irene will be sadly missed by her sister Bessie Shields and her brother Chester Wilson; brother-in-law James Benson (late Nelda); as well as several generations of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Irene is predeceased by her brothers, Cecil (Iris), Tom (Jessie), Ralph and sisters, Hilda Dunn (Burleigh) and Olive Spence (1^st husband, late Gerald Wasson, 2^nd husband, late Vincent Spence).

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto on Monday, March 26^th, 2018 from 11:00 am until time of funeral. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, March 26^th, 2018 at 1:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tim Shaw officiating. Donations in Irene’s memory made to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
