Edith Leger

SHEDIAC, NB – Edith Leger, 89, of Shediac passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence, Shediac on Tuesday, April 10^th, 2018. Born in St-Charles, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Josephine (Daigle) Richard.

Edith is survived by her four daughters, Bernice Massiello (Robert) of North Carolina, Janet Leger (William) of New Jersey, Anita Leger and Claudette Coté (Robert), both of Massachusetts; two sons, Rheal Leger and Vernon Leger (Tina) both of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Marie-Louise Savoie (Late Rufino), Albertine Guimond (Ernest) and Alma Daigle; as well as by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Edith is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Leger; as well as by several sisters.

Following Edith’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 26^th, 2018 at 11:30am, St-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St-Charles.
