Yolande Daigle

PETITE ALDOUANE, NB – Yolande Daigle 65, of Petite Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Dr. George-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Saturday, April 21, 2018.  Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late François McCaie and late Stella (Després) McCaie.  Yolande was employed at the Cook Nook in Richibucto for 10 years.

Yolande will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 46 years, Alvin Daigle of Aldouane; her lovely daughter, Ginette Daigle of Moncton and she was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Dante & Mikael who were very special to her.

She is also survived by two sisters, Dianne Gallant (Jean-Paul Hachey) of Rogersville, Gisèle Lewis (Bill) of Moncton; seven brothers, Gérald McCaie (Marcella) of Scarborough, ON, Jean-Paul McCaie (Rita) of Scarborough, ON, Fernand McCaie (Clarisse) of Ajax, ON, Emile McCaie (Johanne) of Fredericton, Alfred McCaie (Erick) of Toronto, ON, Gilles McCaie (Lise) of Rogersville, Claude McCaie (Odette) of Rogersville and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Léo and Normand; one sister, Linda (Finnigan) and brother-in-law, Claude Gallant.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Thursday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:30 am, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto.  The family would like to say a special thank you to the oncology center at the Dumont Hospital and to the very special nurses, doctors and priest at palliative care.  Donations in Yolande’s memory may be made to the family.
