Stewart Scarling
1943-2018
SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Stewart Scarling 75, of Saint-Charles passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Arthur Tingley and late Hazel (Lowder) Tingley. Before retiring, Stewart served for 26 years in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Stewart will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Rosalie "Rose" Scarling of Saint-Charles; two sons, Troy Scarling (Rachel) of Saint-Charles, Darren Scarling (Dora) of Ontario; two grandchildren, Cameron and Adonica.
He is also survived by one sister; Cynthia Hubbert (Kevin); two brothers, Arthur Tingley (Barbara) and Gary Tingley (Geraldine) all of Saint John; sister-in-law, Jean Tingley and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother; Peter.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 am and 2:00 pm until time of the service. A celebration of Stewart’s life will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 4:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel in Richibucto. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home (523-4252)
