John B. Daigle

1939-2018

ALDOUANE, NB – John B. Daigle, 78, of Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent, on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Born in Guimond Village, he was the son of the late Pascal G. and Marie (Maillet) Daigle. Before retiring, John worked for the Department of Transportation as a bridge worker.

John will be sadly missed by his wife, Valma Daigle (née Daigle); his daughter, Louise Daigle (Harry Cormier) of Richibouctou-Village; his two sisters, Annoncia Daigle (Sylvestre) of St-Charles and Bernice Maillet (late Ronald) of Aldouane; as well as by his several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, John is predeceased by his infant brother, Gilles and his half-sister, Rosemary Gorman.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto on Wednesday, August 22^nd, 2018 from 2:00pm until time of service. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 22^nd, 2018 at 4:00pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
