Dorothy Jean Dunn

BEERSVILLE, NB - Dorothy Dunn, 101, of Hillside View Special Care Home and formerly of Beersville passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  Born in McNairn Settlement, NB, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (McNairn) Little and the late Stewart McNairn.

Dorothy was of devout faith and served her Lord in many ways including fifty years as organist in the Beersville Church.

Dorothy will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Shirley Campbell (Russell), Barbara Campbell (Frank), Audrey Singleton all of Moncton, Elaine Dunn of Beersville; one son Charles Dunn of Rexton; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister Myrtle McWilliam (Jim) and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Dunn in 2003; one sister, Ruth; three brothers, Benjamin, George and Burton Little.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hillside View Special Care Home for the excellent care given to Dorothy during her time there.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from 2-5 pm ONLY at St. James Presbyterian Church in Beersville.  The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 21st, 2018 at 2:30 pm, St. James Presbyterian Church, Beersville officiated by Rev. "Sandy" A.D. Sutherland.

Interment will be held in Beersville Cemetery.

Donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to St. James Presbyterian Church or Cemetery Fund, Beersville.
