Laurena Daigle
1948-2019
POINTE-SAPIN, NB - Rena Daigle, age 70, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton, NB on Monday, March 18, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 28, 1948, she was the daughter of late James Kelly and Annie (Stewart) Kelly.
Rena loved playing Bingo, spending hours on crossword puzzles, scratch card tickets and her dear french vanilla cappuccino. But nothing would bring her more joy than spending time with her loved ones. Family was everything to her.
Her big heart and funny sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, a loving sister, an honorable mother and exceptional grandmother and great friend to so many.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Ernest Daigle of Pointe-Sapin; two daughters, Lisa Sippley (Kevin) of Baie-Ste-Anne, Jeannie Daigle (Georgie) of Pointe-Sapin; one son, Dean Daigle (Tammy) of Moncton; nine grandchildren, Katrina (Allain), Jessica (Ray), Corey (Marie-France), Ryan, Chris, Josee, Kayla (Lucas), Tyler and Austin; five precious little great grandchildren, Alli, David, Alex, Lucas and Hailey.
She is also survived by two sisters, Sharon Martin (Bernie) of Kouchibouguac, Eleanor Poirier (Herbert) of Grand-Digue; three brothers, Tim Kelly of Richibucto, Brian Kelly (Karen) of Nova Scotia, Marven Kelly (Lucille) Aldouane; brother-in-law, Donald Daigle of Pointe-Sapin; two sisters-in-law, Thérèsa Daigle of Pointe-Sapin, Geraldine Vautour (Gerard) of St-Ignace and many nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond (Wonda), Gordon (Phyllis), Reginald (Jessie) and Erven (Sharon).
Visitation will be held at the Pointe-Sapin Community Center on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Friday at 11:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm, St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
