Leonard Daigle

Richibucto, NB – Leonard Daigle, 80, of Aldouane passed away on April 15^th, 2019 at the Villa Maria surrounded by his family. Born in Kouchibouguac he was a son of the late Thomas and Delphine Daigle. Leonard worked for many years as a fisherman. He enjoyed the woods, nature, hunting and fishing. Leonard loved music and playing his mandolin.

Leonard is survived and sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Ethel (Stewart) Daigle; his daughters: Pauline (Denis) Richard of Nova Scotia and Denise (Stephane) Daigle of Cocagne; his sons: Randy (Leona) Stewart of St. Louis, Leonard Jr. (Josee) Daigle of Aldouane, Raymond (Suzette) Daigle of Nova Scotia and Kevin (Janice) Daigle of Rexton; as well as his 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents Leonard was predeceased by his son Allan Daigle; his sisters: Lina, Rita, Elma, Stella and one infant sister Mary; his brothers: Aurele, Alfred, James, Melvin, Clarence, Joseph as well as two infant brothers and a infant great grandchild DeVaughn

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17^th, 2-4pm & 7-9pm, Thursday 10am until departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 18^th, at 11am at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
