Marie-May Johnson

RICHIBUCTO, NB – Marie-May Johnson, 87, of Richibucto Village passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Saint-Anne Hospital. Born in Rosaireville, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Irene (Doiron) LeBlanc. Marie-Mae loved singing, coloring and anything to do with music.

She will be survived and sadly missed by her two daughters, Debbie Johnson of Richibucto Village and Shari (Eddie) of Moncton; her sisters: Juliette (Alyre) Mazerolle of Rogersville and Claudette (late Johnny) Blacquier of Rogersville; her brothers, Eric LeBlanc (Laura) of Rogersville, Gerard LeBlanc (Jeanne) of Rexton, Laurie (Therese) LeBlanc of Moncton, Leo (Ida) LeBlanc of Rogersville, Georges (Cecille) LeBlanc of Rogersville, Yves (Francine) LeBlanc of Saint Lazare, Jean-Claude (Lucie) of Moncton and Jean-Guy of Rogersville as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Marie-May was predeceased by her husband Romeo Johnson and her brothers, Eloi, Rheal and Eugene.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home (Richibucto) on Monday, September 16th, 2019 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm and Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 from 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 at 11:30 am at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto. Donations in Marie-May’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  The family wish to express a heartfelt  thank-you to the great staff at the St. Anne Hospital during this difficult time, also a very special thank-you to Stella Daigle for all of her great care . Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home.
