SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Yvon Joseph Johnson, 77, of St. Louis passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Born in St. Louis, he was a son of the late Marcel and Rosaline (Martin) Johnson.
Yvon will be sadly missed by his wife, Alice (Hebert) Johnson of St. Louis; his children, Gilles (Ida) Johnson of Escuminac, Rose-Marie (Mario) Roy of St. Charles, Valerie (Vicky) Johnson of Kouchibouguac and Guy (Claudine) Johnson of Moncton; his grandchildren, Adreanne. Danica, Veronique, Emma, Haylee and Kaylee
He is also survived by his sisters; Aldine Johnson of St. Ignace, Bernice Hebert of St. Louis, Lorenza (Zoel) Richard, Yvonnice (Donat) Gallant of St. Louis and Florine (Andre) Caissie of Rogersville; his brothers: Gerald (Doris) Johnson of St. Louis, Aldoria (Emilie) Johnson of St. Louis, Onile (Juliette) Johnson of St. Louis and Thaddee (Shirley) Johnson of St. Louis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
As per Yvon’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will be held at the St. Louis de Français Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home (523-4252).
