Helen Allain
1937-2020
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Helen Allain 82, of Richibouctou-Village passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday, January 23, 2020. Born in Richibucto, she was the daughter of the late Edmond Daigle and late Odelie (Robichaud) Daigle.
Helen will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Anne-Marie Richard (Rosario) of Richibouctou-Village, Edmay Allain (Mokded) of St. Antoine, Cecilia Chiasson (Albert) of St. Anne, Debbie Hebert (Normand) of Richibouctou-Village; two sons, Rufineau Allain (Rosella), Aurele Jr. Allain both of Richibouctou-Village; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She is also survived by one sister, Yvette Allain (late Armand) of St. Antoine; two brothers, Edmond Daigle (late Susan) of Saint John, Ira Daigle (Marguerite) of Fredericton and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Aurele Allain; one infant son, Joseph; one sister, Grace and one brother, Rufineau.
Visitation will be held at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber in Richibouctou-Village on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 2-4 & 6 pm until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 7:00 pm, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
