Sylvie LeBlanc

RICHIBUCTO, NB – Sylvie LeBlanc of Richibucto passed away peacefully, on her 80^th birthday, at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 after a lengthy illness.  Born in Aldouane, she was the daughter of the late John Davis and late Dora (Bastarache) Davis.  Before retiring, Sylvie was a waitress at the North Star Restaurant, later known as the Habitant Restaurant. 

Sylvie will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 52 years, Omer LeBlanc of Richibucto; her daughter, Nancy Cormier (Robby) of Aldouane; two very special grandsons, Yves (Samantha), Cory (Isabelle) and one great grandchild due in July. 

She is also survived by four sisters, Imelda Babineau (late Remi) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, Edith Breau (late Emile) of Neguac, Maria Thebeau (late Elzear) of Aldouane, Albertine Davis of Aldouane; two sisters-in-law, Alphonsine Davis of Richibucto, Rita Davis of Aldouane and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Eric, Bernard, Vincent, Ernest and two sisters, Doris and infant Albertine. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto for immediate family, only by invitation due to Covid-19 restrictions & interment will be held at 1:45 pm at Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
