Emerise Arsenault

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Emerise Arsenault 93, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at La Villa Maria in Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Saturday, July 4, 2020.  Born in Kent Junction, she was the daughter of the late Dominique Doucet and late Elvina (Chevarie) Doucet. 

Emerise will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Evelyne Sawyer (Thomas) of Bouctouche, Yvonne Gauthier (Denis) of Shediac, Annette Arsenault of St. Louis; five sons, Roger Arsenault (Jeannine) of St. Louis, Ronald Arsenault (Jeannine) of Shediac, Fernand Arsenault of St. Louis, Vincent Arsenault (Christy) of Abbotsford, BC, Alban Arsenault (Marielle) of St. Louis; thirteen grandchildren, Sophie (Lamond), Yves (Lise), Jacques, Johnathan, Julien (Katia), Marc (Tara), Bryna (Mikey), Brady (Jenelle), Reno (Ana), Josée, Éric (Cindy), Gilles (Michelle), Natalie and eight great grandchildren. 

She is also survived by five sisters; Sr. Dorice Doucet of Montreal, Dorina Theriault (late Camille) of St. Leonard, Rosaline Lanteigne (late Sylvio) of St. Louis, Lilliane Murphy (Rod) of Nackawic, Evelyne St-Onge (late Fernand) of Marieville, QC; three brothers, Ben Doucet, Sylvio Doucet (Claudette) of Marieville, QC, Allison Doucet of Saint-Quentin and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gérard Arsenault (1998), one infant son, Gérard; two sisters, Alexina, infant Marie and one brother, Aquila.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home in Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. 

The family wish to express a very special thank you to Dr. Josette Vautour and the staff at La Villa Maria for their kind and compassionate care of Emerise.
