Eugene Robichaud

ALDOUANE, NB – It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Eugene Robichaud 75, of Aldouane at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, September 27, 2020.  Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Fidèle Robichaud and late Louise (Robichaud) Robichaud.  Before retiring, Eugene was a fisheries officer.  In his younger days, Eugene enjoyed hunting and after his retirement he loved traveling and often woke early to enjoy the sunrise. 

Eugene will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Jeanne (Gallant) Robichaud of Aldouane; three sons, Mike Robichaud (Catherine) of Aldouane, Jean-Guy Robichaud (Nancy) of Aldouane, Denis Robichaud (Annie) of Richibucto; three grandchildren, André, Julie-Pier, Ghislain and four step-grandchildren, Denver, Ethan, Chloe and Lucas. 

He is also survived by one sister, Gemma Richard (Gerald) of Cap-Lumiére; one brother, Gilles Robichaud (Huberte) of Aldouane; sister-in-law, Rose-Marie Robichaud of Shediac and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Leoline and one brother, Jimmy. 

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Friday beginning at 9:00 am until time of the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:30 am at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto.  Interment will be held at the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery in Aldouane.
