ST. LOUIS DE KENT – Alma Thébeau 94, of St. Louis de Kent (formerly of St. Ignace), passed away peacefully after a brief illness at La Villa Maria, St. Louis on Saturday, August 20th, 2011.  Born in St. Ignace, Alma was the daughter of the late Albert and late Mélina (Barrieau) Richard. Alma attended the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church.

Alma will be sadly missed by her seven daughters; Régina Godin (Alyre) of St. Ignace, Yvonne Richard (late Jean-Paul) of St. Ignace, Délia Daigle (Gérald) of St. Louis, Linda Caisse (Ronald) of St. Ignace, Lydie-Anne Robichaud (Paul-Emile) of Pointe Sapin, Rose-Mai Gallant (Yves) of St. Ignace, Annette Richard (Eric) of St. Ignace, her three sons; Alphée (Jacqueline) of St. Ignace, Adélard (Francine) of St. Ignace, Albert (May) of Leominster, Mass., her 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, her two sisters; Jeanne Babineau (Léopold) of Richibouctou-Village, Alfreda Richard (late Léo) of Rogersville, her two brothers; Eugène (Rosalie) of St. Louis, Elizée of St. Louis, as well as by several nieces and nephews.

Other than by her parents, Alma is predeceased by her husband; Télex Thébeau, her two daughters; Eva and Rosa, her grandson; Denis, and her great grandson; Alex.

Alma will be resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Monday from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm, and Tuesday from 9:00am until the departure for the funeral.  A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 at 11:00am at the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace, followed by burial in the parish cemetery.  Donations to La Villa Maria, St. Louis, or to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
