REXTON, NB - Jonathan "Jono" Mourant 19, of Rexton passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends at the Moncton City Hospital, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.  Born in Moncton, he was the son of Robert and Darlene (Fillmore) Mourant.  Jono was employed as a welder at Warman's Welding in Rexton.  He was a member of the Rexton Volunteer Fire Department.

Jono will be sadly missed by his parents; Robbie and Darlene Mourant of Rexton, his brother; Sean Mourant (Kelsey) of Rexton, his grandfather; Carmen Fillmore of Beersville and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Jono was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; John & Melina Mourant and maternal grandmother; Minnie Fillmore.

Resting at Thompson's Funeral Richibucto with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 27th, 2013 at 2:00 pm, Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. Donations in Jono's memory may be made to the Rexton Volunteer Fire Department and would be appreciated by the family.
