SAINT-IGNACE-DE-KENT, NB - It is with deep sadness that we regret to announce the death of Eva Chevarie, 98 of Foyer Bois-Joli, Saint-Louis-de-Kent at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent after a short illness on Monday, June 10, 2013.  She was married to the late Albert Chevarie (1980).  Born in Acadieville November 17, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Jacques Richard and Olive Daigle.

She will be sadly missed by her six daughters; Lea Richard (Alfred) of Aldouane, Maria Robichaud (Louis) of Saint Charles, Jeannette Daigle (Guy) of Saint John, Yvonne Cormier (Bernard) of Dieppe, Adrienne Bourque (Vincent) of Dieppe, Julianna Cormier (Arthur) of Acadieville, three sons; Alcyme (Angéle) of Saint Charles, George (Ida) of Saint-Ignace, Clorice (Claudine) of Saint-Ignace, thirty-two grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, son-in-law; Josephat Gallant and several nieces and nephews.

The last surviving member of her family, she was predeceased by her husband; Albert Chevarie, two daugthers; infant Adrienne and Antoinette Gallant and three sisters; Hélène Doiron, Emilie Martin, Adéline Barriault and eight brothers; Célestin, Antoine, Isidore, Jacques, Alcyme, Fidéle, Médard and Livain. 

Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9, Thursday 1:00 pm until departure for the funeral.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 3:30 pm, Saint-Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Ignace-de-Kent.  Interment will be in the Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola Roman Catholic Cemetery.  Donations in Eva's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
